Mulla Nasruddin was day dreaming and building castles in the air as he had won a lot of money. ‘I would buy four shops and I would keep two workers in each shop. In a year or two, I would become prosperous and have a grand mansion. I would have two wives and four sons. When they grow up, I would arrange for their marriage…,’ he thought. Mulla did not realise where his donkey was going. As his master was not paying attention, the donkey decided to play a mischief. He saw a small bridge built across a deep ditch. He decided to jump across the ditch instead of using the bridge. Mulla and his donkey flew in the air and landed in the ditch. “Splash!” “You useless donkey! You are the most foolish animal!” Mulla showered curses on his donkey. The donkey simply stood beside him as if it had been waiting for his next instructions.
