A boy was very lazy. He never liked to work. He always looked around for shortcuts. One day, he and his sister were playing outside. Suddenly, the sister wanted to sit on the sledge. She told her brother, “Please pull the sledge and take me for a ride.” The lazy brother did not want to do it. He too wanted to enjoy the ride. So, he took a rope, tied it around his dog’s collar and tied the other end to the sledge. Then he nudged the dog to move forward. The poor dog started moving forward pulling the sledge with him. It was a joyful ride but disaster was at the corner for as soon as the dog turned the corner, the rope broke. The boy and his sister were thrown off the sledge. Ultimately, it was the lazy boy who had to pull the sledge!
