Once, a king had a daughter whom he wanted to marry off. But the daughter refused to do so. But still, the king insisted. So, she sought out her fairy godmother. She said to the princess, “Tell your father to get you a dress that has the colour of the sky. He will never be able to fulfil that request and you will not have to marry.” But the king fulfilled her wish immediately. It was the most beautiful blue dress. The princess again went to her godmother who said, “Ask for a dress which is the colour of the moon. Surely, your father will not be able to give you this.” But this wish was fulfilled too! So, the princess wore a donkey skin and left the palace. She started working as a maid. But one day, she took her coat off. A prince saw her and fell in love with her. He proposed to her and they got married.
