Some of you must have heard about birds like the eagle or hawk or even seen them. These are called birds of prey. They have very sharp beaks, talons and strong vision. A buzzard is one such bird. It is also called the flying stag because of the way it stretches its wings. Its wings look like antlers. The buzzard has very sharp eyes and can see the tiniest of animals. It hunts during the day unlike the other birds of prey. Another bird of prey is the owl. It feeds on insects and other creatures. An owl hoots in the night. Whatever the owl cannot eat, it throws out like bones or feathers.
