Molly and her Friends

Molly-and-her-Friends

Molly was good at studies. But she loved to tell tall tales to everyone she met. Her friends would tell her, “Why don’t you stop telling lies? We are tired of your stories.” But Molly was in no mood to listen. She continued her ways until her friends stopped listening to her. Once, Molly went on holiday. When she returned, she wanted to impress her friends. So she began, “When I was in Carlingford, I jumped so high that I was out of sight.” One of her friends was angry at this. She said, “Pretend you are in Carlingford and jump out of sight right now.” All the girls laughed. Molly felt bad. Just then, one of the girls said, “Molly, we are your friends. You don’t need to tell us tall tales to impress us because we love you the way you are.” Molly understood this and changed her ways.
