Minchin was four years old. In a few days, she would be going to school. She spent her days thinking about how much fun it would be to meet new friends and learn new things. Her father had brought her a beautiful pink frock with blue belt. Her mother had bought her a blue water bottle and a canvas bag. On the day of school, Minchin’s mother went to wake her up. But Minchin had already brushed her teeth and had her bath. Her mother combed her hair and made her wear the new clothes. Then she filled her lunch box with wholesome food and filled her new water bottle. Minchin waved her mother and left with her father for the school bus. She hummed her favourite song all the way. Minchin surely had a good time at school because that was what she told her mother when she returned home.
