Once, in the land of magic, the Citrus Fairy organised a competition between an elf and a dragon. She announced, “I have hidden a magical potion beneath the ground. Both of you have to find it. The winner will be rewarded a 1,000 gold coins.” After looking for a while, the dragon sat in one place and mumbled, “It is impossible to find a small potion-bottle in such a huge piece of land!” The elf, on the other hand, kept on searching. After digging for a while, the elf thought, ‘I have dug the whole land except for the part where the dragon is sitting.’ So, the elf made a tunnel in the ground to the place where the dragon sat. Right there, he found the potion! The Citrus Fairy rewarded the elf and said, “Dragon, you had found the potion much before the elf; but since you gave up so soon, you missed your chance!”
