Once, a cruel king named George ruled over a country. He was rude to everyone. In fact, he even collected taxes and fines when his kingdom faced a severe famine. When anyone protested, he threw them into prison. “Our king is too cruel to be the ruler of this kingdom,” his subjects cried often. Soon, the whole kingdom turned against him. One day, his cousin, Adam, attacked him with a small group of soldiers. George asked his army and his subjects for help but they all said, “Adam is brave and caring. We will help him.” Adam was a kind man. He said, “George, I have waited all this time for you to change your ways. But you have troubled the people a lot. Leave the kingdom alone.” George left the kingdom, alone, regretting his greedy and miserly ways while his subjects rejoiced with the new king.
