Isabelle was a little girl who loved to play with pets. Naomi was her best friend. Naomi shared all her secrets with Isabelle. Isabelle also had a secret. She did not share her secret with anyone in the beginning. She wanted to wait for the right time to share the secret. Finally, she decided to share her secret with Naomi. “Come with me,” she said to Naomi. The two girls went to the corner of the garden. There, nearly hidden by the tall grass, was an old shed. “What is that sound?” asked Naomi. Isabelle pointed near the door. There were five beautiful little kittens huddled together! “Our cat Molly had kittens,” said Isabelle, “Mother says they are old enough now to go to new homes. Would you like one?” Naomi was thrilled. She chose the cutest one. Naomi thanked Isabelle. Their friendship grew deeper since then.
