Children love to play in a park. Once, the sun shone brightly on the little park by the school. The children were happily running around, playing and singing. The bright sunshine made no difference to their enthusiasm. The sun shone brighter and stronger by each hour as children continued to play. Soon the children started sweating and blamed the sun. “We could have played more, if the day was not so warm. The sun has spoiled our fun,” the children complained. The sun felt sad. It hid behind the clouds. It did not rise for two days. The children could not play because it was cloudy and grim. There was a nip in the air and everything looked grey. On the third day, the sun decided to come out and the children cheered. ‘Oh, so they miss me, when I am not around,’ thought the sun with a smile.
