Once there was a very hungry wolf. It looked for food here and there, but could not get any. The wolf started getting very restless. At last, it found a big loaf of bread, a large piece of meat and a few smoked fishes in the hole of a tree. The hungry wolf became very happy. It squeezed into the hole and ate all the food. It was a woodcutter’s lunch that the wolf ate. The woodcutter was on his way back to the tree to have his meal, when he saw that there was a wolf inside the hole. On seeing the woodcutter, the wolf got scared and tried to get out of the hole. But all its efforts went waste and the wolf could not get out of the hole, since its tummy was swollen with all the food that it had eaten! The woodcutter caught the wolf and gave it a nice thrashing.
