Once, there was a fox named Poogy and a hare named Woogy who lived near a town. They always found the opportunity to snatch something in the town’s habitat. One day, they saw a woman carrying a basket of freshly baked cakes and hatched a plan to steal them. Woogy told Poogy that he would feign sickness in front of the woman. When she kept her basket aside to attend to him, Poogy should run away with and later both of them could enjoy the cakes together. Everything went as plan and Poogy ran away with the basket. However, he was too hungry to wait and gulped down the entire cake.
When Woogy arrived, he was very annoyed with Poogy and decided to take revenge. The intelligent hare asked Poogy to dip his tail in the water to attract fish. Poogy did as he was told, not realizing that the icy water would freeze his tail. After sometime he pulled his tail, but it snapped. The hare jeered at the greedy fox.
