Once, a mouse, Amo used to go to the jungle school, but he didn’t like to read the books. He had a big hatred especially for science and history. To escape from reading he often ran away from school. Then his mother came to him and gave a piece of cheese and asked, “Do you know where the cheese comes from?”Amo proudly said, “From refrigerator.” “No, it comes from Pony, the cow,” his mother replied. Amo became confused and eagerly went to Pony to know the fact. Pony said that she ate grass which helped her to produce milk. “But how can grass turn into milk?” he asked. “That happens in my stomach,” explained Pony.
Amo was amazed to know that butter, cheese and ice cream are made from milk. Pony said that the goat’s and the camel’s milk was also used to make cheese. Now his mother told him to attend the school faithfully so that he might learn everything. Amo’s mother gave him some books to read. Amo agreed as he wanted to learn everything.
