Once, there lived two pandas named Giju and Miju, in a forest. They were very mischievous and giant. There had always slanging match between them. They were so envious of each other that they never let another to eat peacefully. There was a bamboo plant in the jungle, which had delicious shoots. All day, they would sit beside the plant and prevent each other from eating the shoots. One day, Giju threatened Miju, “If you don’t leave this place, I’ll bite your ears off!” “And I’ll bite your nose!” snarled Miju. They broke into a fight, rolling over each other and trying to grab the plant.
In the process, the bamboo plant broke into two but the pandas continued to fight. Meanwhile, some smaller pandas hurriedly ate the bamboo shoots. When the two cousins gave up their fight and looked around, they realized how foolish they had been. They decided to be friends and share the bamboo shoots.
