Once, there were a mouse named Micky and a lion named Bubber. They lived in the jungle. One day, Micky was celebrating the birthday of his son but forgot to bring his favourite fruit. So Micky proceeded to bring that fruit. But while he passed through Bubber’s den, Bubber pounced upon the poor little Micky and was about to gobble him when the little mouse pleaded to leave him because it was his son’s birthday, and promised that he would do good in return. Bubber found this really funny and roared loudly, “What can you do for me, Micky? Anyhow, I will let you go for now!”
Two weeks later, some hunters came to the forest and spread a net around Bubber’s den and trapped him. Little Micky was hunting for food when he heard Bubber roaring. He ran to him. Seeing the lion caught in the net, Micky started gnawing at it with his sharp teeth and he soon freed Bubber. From that day onwards, Micky and Bubber were the best of friends.
