A village couple was digging the field to sow seeds. Suddenly, their shovels hit something hard on the ground. It was a big silver pot. They took it out and carried it home. Back in home, the man put his shovel in the silver pot. Next day, when they looked for the shovel both of them were amazed to see two shovels inside the pot.
The woman said, “I think it is a magical silver pot. Whatever put in it will double by itself.” Now they put some silver coins in the pot and got them doubled. They tried again and the result was the same. Steadily, they became rich and kept on making more money.
One day, unfortunately, the woman slipped and fell into the pot. The man tried to pull her out but there were two wives inside the pot. He pulled out both the ladies and started living with them. The magical pot had put the man in great trouble.
Moral : It is very hard to satiate greed.
