THE LION AND HIS BUSINESS PARTNERS

THE LION AND HIS BUSINESS PARTNERS

When the jackal, the wolf and the hyena went into business with the lion, it was agreed that losses and profits would be shared equally by all the four. It so happened that, one day, they hunted a buffalo and then a shareholders’ meeting was held to divide the game into four equal parts.
The meeting was chaired by the lion who pronounced thus: “I will take the first share because I am the king of the forest. The second and the third share also belong to me because it is I who hunted it. Now if anyone of you lays claim on the fourth share, he may do so at his own risk because I am already feeling hungry. Thank you, gentlemen! That’s all.”
Moral : Might is right in the Jungle rule.
