Long ago, there lived a cat. One day, she thought that the lion was the strongest of all the animals. It was good to have strong friends. So, she decided to go to the lion and befriend him. The cat did so and they became good friends. Once, they went out for a walk together and met an elephant. The lion and the elephant began fighting and the elephant killed the lion. The cat felt very sorry. She did not know what to do. She thought that the elephant was stronger than the lion. Hence, she should go to the elephant and make friends with him. She did so and they became good friends for many, many days. One day, the two of them were walking in the forest and met a hunter. The hunter shot at the elephant and killed him.
The Cat and the Woman
The cat was sad over the loss of her friend. But at the same time, she thought that the man was stronger than the elephant. So, she went up to the hunter and asked him if she could come along with him. The hunter agreed to take her to his home. They reached the hunter’s home. His wife met him and took his gun from him. The cat saw that and thought that the woman was the strongest of all! She could take the hunter’s gun from him, and he did not fight against her. He did not even utter a word! The man sat down at the table and the woman went into the kitchen. The cat followed her and went into the kitchen. She decided to stay with the woman. That is the reason why we always see a cat in the kitchen at a woman’s feet.
