A farewell party was arranged on the last day when I was leaving school to join another school. The party was arranged by the students of class IV according to prevailing conventions. The hall of the school was beautifully decorated with flowers balloons, charts and paintings. When the function began, many speeches and thoughts were delivered by the students, the teachers and the principal. After the speeches, a cultural dance was prepared by the juniors which was dedicated to the teachers. It was very sweet and nicely prepared. After it was over, everyone was giving them a standing ovation on their performance. After that light refreshment was served. The teachers gave their blessings and the juniors wished them best of luck for their further competition with the outside world. It was a day to be cherished and remembered.
