A 45-year-old man lived with his 80-year-old father. One day, while they were sitting in their house, a crow perched on their window. The father asked, “What is this?” The son replied, “It is a crow.” After a few minutes, the father asked the same question again. The son said, “Father, I just told you; it’s a crow.” The son was getting irritated. After a little while, the old father asked his son the third time. This time, the son shouted at his father, “Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again? Are you not able to understand a simple thing?” A little later, the father brought an old tattered diary. He showed one page to his son. “Today my little son saw a crow and asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him 23 times that it was a crow. I love his curiosity and innocence.” The son read this. He hugged his father and apologised for his rude behaviour.
