Once upon a time, there lived a lion in a forest. One day after a heavy meal, it was sleeping under a tree. After sometime, there came a mouse and it started to play and jump on the lion. Suddenly, the lion got up with anger and looked for those who disturbed its nice sleep. Then the lion saw a small mouse standing trembling with fear. The lion jumped on it and caught it in its paw. It started to kill the mouse. The mouse suddenly started requesting the lion to forgive it. The lion felt pity and left the mouse.
The mouse ran away in its home near the tree. One day, the lion was caught in a net by a hunter. The hunter left the lion in the net thinking he would take it the next day. The little mouse was watching the whole incident. The mouse came quietly after the hunter had left and cut the net. Thus the lion escaped. Thereafter, the mouse and the lion became friends. They lived happily in the forest afterwards.
