Halley was treated like a princess at the farm. Farmer Copper and Mrs Copper were very fond of their daughter and spoilt her thoroughly. She was completely lazy and always throwing tantrums. Roger, the farm dog, spoke about it to Chip, the cat. “I think we must teach her how to behave better. The master is a good man and so is his missus, but this one is crazy!” One evening, they brought a tiny rabbit and left him in Halley’s room. The rabbit squealed and Halley was horrified at finding a rabbit there, but she had to take him out. After a lot of running, she grabbed him and suddenly, she felt good about holding the small wriggling bundle! She named him Benny. Benny followed her everywhere and Halley found that she grew to love all the other animals too because of him! There was no time for tantrums any more.
