21st June is the longest and hottest day of the year. The sun was shining very brightly. Father went early to office. We shut the doors and the windows to keep out the heat. We played ludo and carrom. Mom prepared some cold drinks for us. As we did not have any appetite for lunch, mom gave us each chilled mango shake. After some time, mother cut a big watermelon. My brother and I enjoyed the sweet fruit. Father came back in the evening. He brought four huge cones of ice-cream for us. We enjoyed the ice-cream.
