A Morning Stroll

It has been remarked ‘early to bed and early to rise makes man healthy wealthy and wise’. This poem summarizes the benefits of morning walk. Great scholar and politician Chanakya has said, ‘Those who do not rise early, Lakshmi, i.e. goddess of wealth leaves them.’ As such rising early and to take morning walk is most useful. Gandhi ji used to take morning and evening walk because it is the best exercise to keep body fit and healthy. Morning walk refreshes our brain, cures indigestion and gives energy to our body.
Early in the morning, nature is at her best bestowing upon us her gifts freely. It creates a thrilling sensation to us. Trees and plants provide us oxygen which they exhale in the early hours of the morning. This oxygen is beneficial for our health. The ultra violet rays of rising sun are very beneficial to our eyes. These precious gifts are available to those who go for early walk.
The famous poet Wordsworth has showered lot of praise for morning walk. The people who rise early are generally healthy because they get benefit of gifts of nature. This is the reason that the birds begin to fly early in the morning and the cock cries as soon as the sun begins to rise. Morning walk keeps man physically healthy, smart and mentally alert.
Morning is normally free from noise and pollution. The sun’s rays of early morning give us streaks of light which provide us bigger and vitality.
During morning natural scene is very charming, green fields; gardens and golden sky due to golden rays of sun greet our eyes. The dew drops on grass look like pearls. The cool morning breezes and sweet fragrance of flowers and of blooming trees makes us smart. The song of birds gives sweetness to our mind and thought. In morning nature bestows her gifts to those who take morning walk.
