Zoar looked quite beautiful and fresh, as Jehovah would have wanted it to be. However, Lot was not happy with the plain surface of Jordan. He went ahead and choose for himself all the valley of Jordan and moved to far-off places like Sodom. However the people here were very wicked and didn’t like Jehovah at all. One day, Jehovah told Abraham to see the places that he could see through his eyes all would belong to him and his children. He said, “ Abraham, I give the land to you, so walk as much as you can.” He then moved his home to the oak grove of Mamre, in Hebron. As he was sitting outside his home one day, he saw three men at his doorstep. He asked them to rest at his home and eat the food he had for them. He asked his wife to cook food and took fresh milk and curd to the three men. At the time of parting one of them said, “ Tell your wife that, I will return after nine months when she would deliver a healthy baby-boy.”
