Maria had talent for music. She could play the piano like an accomplished musician. But she was not very confident about herself. Her parents owned a music store. Whenever she found time, she went to the store and played the piano. As she was under‑confident, she used to say, “I want to be a musician, but don’t think I am good enough.” One day, Maria was excited to see a big brown piano for her in store. Maria had never played such a big piano before. When she played it, everyone stopped to listen. Soon, people started flocking to the music shop just to hear Maria play the piano. Slowly, she became more confident. She thought, ‘It was only my fear that was holding me back.’ She continued to practise on the new piano every day. Each day, she became more and more confident. One day, she became a famous musician!
