The farm animals and birds were having a competition in the barn. “Who can tell the most unbelievable story?” asked the rooster, “Whoever does that, shall win the prize!” “What’s the prize?” asked the cat, who would only compete if the prize was good. “You get two days without any work!” said the rooster. This didn’t seem very nice because the cat had no work in any case. But do you know who won the prize? The cat, of course! “I was a very small kitten,” she said, “The farmer thought there were too many cats. He took me to the pond along with three other kittens, to drown us. I saved them from drowning and then I swam to the bank, safe and sound! I’m a very good swimmer.” Everyone began laughing. They all knew that the cat hated the water! It was the most unbelievable story after all!
