James and Daniel were good friends. They lived in the same neighbourhood and studied in the same class. But the boys were very different from each other. James was tall and muscular whereas Daniel was short and thin. James loved playing sports whereas Daniel loved reading. But James was very proud of his height and strength. “No boy is stronger than I. I can run faster than anyone in my class,” he boasted often. One day, James’s class played a football match wherein he scored the maximum goals. After the match, he teased Daniel, “You are no match for me as I am much stronger!” That afternoon, during an English class, the teacher said, “Daniel has written a lovely poem about spring. Let us hear him recite it.” After Daniel had read out his poem, everyone clapped. James was embarrassed and apologised to Daniel for his bad behaviour. “God has given everyone a special skill,” said Daniel, and he hugged James.
