A tree has roots, a trunk, branches, leaves, flowers and fruit. The roots grow under the ground. They get water and minerals for the tree. The trunk grows above the ground. The branches grow out of the trunk. Leaves and flowers grow on branches. Flowers grow into fruit. Seeds grow inside the fruit. When we sow the seeds, they grow up into new trees. Trees give us fruit and vegetables. They also give us medicines. Trees are very useful to us. They give us wood which is used for making different kinds of furniture. Trees are the makers of oxygen, a gas so useful to living beings. Without trees we can’t imagine life.
