I went to see the Mughal Garden last Sunday with my parents and sister. The Mughal Garden is situated in the Rashtrapati Bhawan. This is the first garden in Asia to be raised above the ground level. The Mughal Garden is open to the public in February every year. The Mughals were very fond of parks. They laid many gardens in India. The Mughal Garden is laid on the same pattern. On entering the gate from North Avenue side, I saw a exclusively built pond in which golden and multi-coloured fish were sprawling. Then I saw a row of flowers. There were oranges of the size of a lemon. There were beds and beds of flowers everywhere. There was a Bara Dari and a number of fountains. I have the memory of this garden still fresh in my mind.
