The aardvark’s tongue and tubular features are best suited to hunt ants and termites, which it feeds on with gusto; they can eat up to fifty thousand ants and termites in an evening! They live in burrows, which protects them from predators. The aardvark breed in the months of May to July, and delivers a single cub after seven months of gestation.
