Adam and Eve

Adam passionately named his wife as Eve, and she is known to be the mother of all living beings. They both had two sons, one named as Abel who was a shepherd and the other one Cain, a farmer. He took some of the best fruits, vegetables and grains from his garden and presented them to Jehovah. Abel presented Him with animal flesh and wished to please Him. Jehovah was happy with the offerings given by Abel, which displeased Cain. He could see the anger on his face, and asked him to control his disappointment. He also asked him to do the right things to impress Him, and to keep himself away from the sin. Cain asked his brother to come with him to the field and killed him there. Jehovah knew what had happened, and cursed him that he would not be able to yield any results, whenever he tilled the ground. Cain said that the punishment was too much for him, and he didn’t want to lead a life of a wanderer. He also said that anyone who found him would kill him, and Jehovah assured him that anyone who killed him would be punished.
