One evening, Pansy was walking through the market, when she heard two men talking. “The jewels must reach me by midnight,” said the first man. “Don’t worry; it will be done,” said the second man. Pansy peeped around the wall of the shop, and saw the two men clearly. The first man was tall and muscular, with a scar running from his forehead to chin. The other man was well dressed but mean-looking. Pansy was scared, and turned to leave. But her dress got caught on a nail! The two men came around the side of the shop at that very moment and saw her standing there. “Did you hear anything?” growled the first man and grabbed Pansy’s arm. Pansy screamed out! She screamed so loudly that a large crowd gathered, trapping the two men. Soon, the police came and arrested the men. Pansy shuddered and said, “Who knew the market could be so dangerous?”
