Aidan’s parents always taught him to be kind and considerate. So, Aidan practised helping his friends and little animals, every day. One evening, Aidan and his friends were playing in a park. Just then, he saw an old lady who wanted to cross a busy street. Many vehicles were moving across the street so fast that the old lady was frightened to even move a step. Aidan saw that none was ready to help her. So, he immediately ran up to the old lady and smiled at her. “Please let me help you to cross the road, Aunty,” he said politely. He caught hold of the old lady’s hand and helped her cross the street. The old lady was so grateful to Aidan that she said, “May God bless you, kind boy!” She then gave him a bar of chocolate as a token of thanks. Aidan was very happy that he had been able to help someone once again! When his parents heard this, they were proud of him.
