The charm of being the king soon wore off. He longed to be back in his small cottage, amongst his friends. On the other hand, the king walked the streets like a common man. But, by evening, the charm of being a common man was gone. He was hungry and tired, and wanted his beautiful palace back. The wizard had been watching them both. He snapped his fingers and Albert and the king returned to their own homes. They never wished to be anything but themselves after this adventure.
