Alligator!

Jason and his sister Beth were on an adventure trip across the USA. They had many great experiences, but the scariest was in Mississippi. It was a hot day and they were near a bathing hole at Black Creek. Beth was just about to enter the water, when Jason called out, “Stop! Stay back!” There was an alligator approaching! Jason quickly stripped off his shirt and tossed it onto the alligator’s eyes, blinding it. He then leapt onto its back, holding tight to its jaws and legs. Beth helped him by throwing twigs and stones from the shore. The animal tried to throw Jason off, but with its legs pinned down, he could not move. Then Jason quickly jumped off the alligator’s back and swam quickly to the shore. They ran back to their car before it could even think of coming to the land!
