Hatim had been walking for days in the desert when he saw a freshwater stream. He walked up to it and saw blood streaming out of it! Shocked and disappointed, he walked on till he saw a solitary shady tree next to a lake, right at the centre of the hot desert. To his utter horror, Hatim saw that the heads of beautiful ladies hung from each branch of that tree! The lake was crimson due to the presence of blood. At first, Hatim thought his tired mind was playing tricks on him. He closed his eyes and opened them again, but the scene did not change! Hatim sat down underneath the tree, next to the lake, trying to unfold the horrifying mystery when he beheld the enchanting smile of the angelic face hung on the topmost branch. Hatim felt his soul leave his body as he got trapped in the enchantment.
