Once, many animals lived in Animal Land. All the animals loved to play together in the Animal Land. They played many games but their favourite game was hide and seek. The game used to start in the morning and end at dinner time. One of them, Zerry Pig, was very good at hiding but not very good at finding his friends. It always took him a long time to find them. One day, when they were playing, it grew dark. It was Zerry’s turn to find his friends. But Zerry had not found anyone. So, he went home to get his torch. His friends laughed a lot at this. They knew their friend Zerry very well. Pip Elephant laughed and said, “I hope he finds us before the batteries in his torch run out; otherwise, we will be hiding here all night!”
