Delhi Police Public School, Kingsway Camp, held its annual sports meet. The event took off with a yoga session by the students of the school. Other events included aerobic drill display, human pyramid, rhythmic dance etc. In another field event, the toddlers performed a synchronised dance on the song ‘Jai ho’ instilling the spirit of nationalism in all. A number of competitive races were held and winning pupils received medals and certificates by the guests of honour. Another highlight of the event was the academic prize distribution to the meritorious students. Some races were also organised for the parents and teachers of the school. Eminent officers from the Delhi Police graced the occasion and declared cash rewards for the best sportspersons in various categories of the school, thereby lifting the spirits of the building future sportspersons.
