Anya and Uzuri studied in the same class. They were good friends. Uzuri had been a victim of polio when she was very young. Due to this, her legs were slightly deformed. However, Uzuri did not let herself feel physically challenged. One day, their school organised a marathon to raise money for charity. All the children in school were participating. The school would donate the money to the underprivileged children. Uzuri too wanted to help raise money and decided to participate in the marathon. Anya supported her decision and promised to help. Uzuri could not run very fast. Most of the children had finished the race when she was near the halfway mark. Anya was near the finish line, when she noticed Uzuri lagging behind. She came back to help her friend and ran with her. She encouraged her till Uzuri finally crossed the finish line.
