You’ll find this large species of scorpion fish in rocky bottoms of the ocean at a depth of 180 metres. It can grow to a size of 18-20 inches and weigh up to 3.2 kg. This fish loves to eat crustaceans, molluscs, sea urchins, fish and bottom invertebrates. It uses sponge beds for spawning by attaching the eggs to its base.
