Baychimo

Baychimo is a cargo steamship that carried provisions and fur for the Inuit people living along the coast of Victoria Island, Canada. In 1931, when the ship got stuck in thick ice on its way, the crew set up a temporary shelter hoping for a miracle. On the contrary, the ship disappeared and was found two days later only to be set free after salvaging the fur onboard. The ship wasn’t expected to even last that winter but was spotted 37 years later, in 1969. More bizarre than that was the fact that despite efforts, the ship couldn’t be reached, making it a true ghost ship.
