Benedict Collin Allen was born on 1st March 1960 in Cheshire, England, and he still lives there. Benedict is an author, adventurer, film maker and explorer. He is best known for his techniques of mingling with the indigenous people from whom he learns survival skills. His expeditions include a trip to a volcano in Costa Rica, a remote forest in Brunei, a glacier in Iceland and the most epic being an independent journey through the least known regions of the Amazon and New Guinea and many more such adventures.
