Bob and his pet dog, Whistle shared many adventures during summer vacation. They loved to take long walks in the countryside. One morning, Bob and Whistle were out walking in the hills. While exploring, they came to the riverside and stopped to fish. Suddenly, Whistle stopped near a small opening between the bushes and started whimpering. “What is it, Whistle?” asked Bob, curiously. When Whistle did not stop whining, Bob crawled through the bushes and looked into the hole. It was a creature with two large pointed ears, luminescent eyes and blood-red lips! Bob and Whistle ran back to the village and brought the local policeman. The policeman had one look at the creature and laughed aloud. “It’s just a picture, Bob. The eyes shine because of phosphorus,” said the policeman and he went back to the village. Bob went red with embarrassment. Nevertheless, he and Whistle continued with their little adventures all summer.
