Human bones grow continually from birth till the mid- 20’s. A growing baby has 350 bones. As it grows, many bones join together and thus the number of bones decreases till the baby grows into an adult. The bones of the skeleton are classified according to their shapes and formations.
Over half of our bones are in our hands and feet. Bones keep growing as we grow. That is why we get taller and broader. The biggest bones are found in the legs and the smallest bones are inside the ears.
