Bosky and the Parcel

Bosky was a rabbit. She was careless. She would cause trouble, without knowing it.

Oh! Bosky had forgotten to close the door again!

“Bosky! Dear Bosky! Why are you so careless?” scolded her father one day.

Once, Bosky went out to buy some milk. The vendor asked her to pay for it.

Bosky could only stare at him. Such was our Bosky!

One day, Bosky went to the market with her friend.

There, she saw a parcel falling from a lady’s bag while she was boarding a bus.

Bosky quickly picked the parcel up. But the bus had left by then.

Bosky’s friend said, “Throw the parcel away as it is of no use to you.”

But Bosky kept quiet. The next day, she waited for the bus.

Then, she spoke to the driver, “Mr. Hippo, one of your passengers dropped this parcel yesterday.”

Mr. Hippo said, “Oh! That must be Mrs. Foxy. She was very upset yesterday.”

Bosky said, “Mr. Hippo, please return this parcel to her.”

Mr. Hippo said, “Thank you, my dear Bosky. May God bless you!” Then he drove away.

The next day, Bosky’s mother said to her, “A lady named Mrs. Foxy has come to meet you.”

Mrs. Foxy smiled and said, “Thank you for returning my precious parcel.”

She further rewarded Bosky with a doll.

Bosky was very happy and her parents felt very proud of her.

Their daughter had become responsible. They crowned her ‘Miss Responsible’.

Well! Well! Bosky was proud, wasn’t she?
