Interesting fact : These creatures are considered to be big-time pests inside the house, especially since the larvae feed on any and all available food sources. The brown house moth has an approximate wingspan of 26 mm. They lay eggs near the areas of available food source. As soon as the larvae hatch, they begin to feed on dry foods available in the house and then burrow into the food to spin their webs in order to pupate. The lifespan of the brown house moth is 1 year.
