Interesting fact : These creatures are considered to be big-time pests inside the house, especially since the larvae feed on any and all available food sources. As soon as the larvae hatch, they begin to feed on dry foods available in the house and then burrow into the food to spin their webs in order to pupate. The lifespan of the brown house moth is 1 year.
