Bushido and Seppuku are ethical codes and rituals followed by the Samurais, in Japan.

‘Bushido’ meaning complete loyalty and binding piety to one’s master is said to have originated in Japan in the 7th aeon. Seppuku was the other half of the ethical code, and was a ‘ritual suicide’, performed by a Samurai if he had in any way dishonoured himself or his master. The Samurai would take permission from his master to accomplish Seppuku as atonement.
