Buzz Aldrin or Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr was born on 20th January 1930 and he is now retired today. An engineer and astronaut, Edwin is known for being the second man to step on the moon following Neil Armstrong. He was an Airforce pilot and was selected by NASA for the Gemini mission in 1969. He later worked on developing space faring technology and became an author writing sci-fi novels, children’s books and memoirs including Return to Earth (1973), Magnificent Desolation (2009) and No Dream is Too High: Life Lessons from a Man Who Walked on the Moon (2016).
