Cama

Scientific name : Camelus dromedarius x Lama glama

Family : Camelidae

Native to : Saudi Arabia

Interesting fact : Does not have a hump like a camel.

The cama was born in 1998, in Dubai, a cross between a male camel and a llama. The reason to create a hybrid was to ensure higher productivity of wool, when compared to the llama.
